Situated in 'The Parks' of Johannesburg the guest house is in a central yet very peaceful area of Johannesburg and is within easy access to the main motorway. Parkview is part of the Greater Rosebank Region and the guest house is just around the corner from the Johannesburg Zoo, the famous Orient Express Westcliff Hotel and Parkview Golf Course. The streets are lined with Jacaranda trees and the bird life is exceptional.
Parkview Village with delightful shops and restaurants is within easy walking distance and other shopping and eating-out areas such as Rosebank, Killarney, Melville, Greenside and Parkhurst are close by. Parking is available on the guest house grounds. Credit cards are accepted. German spoken.
Main HouseThe executive en-suite rooms are individually decorated and furnished with either king size bed or two single beds and have casual seating as well as work areas. All rooms have flat screen TV, heating, fans, bar fridges, tea/coffee trays as well as safety deposit boxes. All bathrooms have a bath and shower, under-floor heating, heated towel rail, hairdryer and gowns. Continental as well as English breakfasts are served in the guest lounge which opens onto to the terrace and swimming pool.The CottageThe Cottage has two units with self-catering facilities, both equipped to the same standard as the executive rooms in the main house. ‘The Suite’ consists of one double bedroom, bathroom with corner shower and under-floor heating. There is an open-plan lounge with dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. ‘The Studio’ has a bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with bath and a small kitchenette. Both units are fully air-conditioned and have their own satellite decoder. The Cottage also has a guest laundry with drying area.The Cottage has its own driveway with electronic gate and electric fence to provide parking for 2 cars. Each unit has an outside area with garden table and chairs as well as barbeque facilities. The Cottage overlooks the fenced-off swimming pool and has direct access to the Main House. The Cottage is also available on a bed and breakfast basis and self-catering is for a minimum stay of 1 week only. Rates
