On your arrival at Craighall House, the garden will envelope you, in summer the bursts of colour, the wisteria and carefully tended roses, in winter the evergreens, warm Johannesburg days and cosy evenings by the fire. A small, personally run guesthouse in Craighall, the most convenient northern suburb to be in, five minutes from Sandton, Rosebank, Melrose Arch, the M1 Highway and a short drive to the Johannesburg CBD. You will find the staff treat you with exceptional courtesy and the regularly refurbished individual rooms are comfortable and charmingly decorated with an eye to detail.
In your room you will find a comfortable Queen bed well made with crisp, white linen. All the bedrooms are en-suite with well appointed bath or shower rooms. A fridge will provide you with fresh milk every day so you can make yourself tea or coffee. Each room has it’s own private entrance and small patio where you can relax at any time. Our self-catering cottage is independent to the main guest house and has a beautiful sitting/dining room, full kitchen, very large bedroom with dressing room and full bathroom. It also has it’s own garage and lovely patio overlooking the wonderful garden and pool. We provide safe covered parking and for those who have allergies, there are no cats or dogs.
At breakfast every morning, your fruit salad is freshly made using only in-season fresh fruit and served with a delicious full English breakfast. The honesty bar on our colonial verandah is there for your convenience. Your hostess Oriel has lived in several different countries and Craighall House is decorated with original paintings, Persian carpets and antiques for you to enjoy in a warm friendly space. Craighall has many surrounding attractions. Golf courses, a wonderful selection of restaurants, clothing boutiques, art galleries, antique shops and conference centres. The new Gautrain takes 15 minutes from the Airport to Sandton, where we are happy to collect you. Rates
