Melville Manor is a beautifully restored 3 star guest house with seven suites. Conveniently located close to the heart of the city and designed with comfort in mind to make your stay that much more memorable. Melville is a suburb full of old-world charm and character. We are within walking distance to cafes, restaurants and quirky shops.
Our dining room spills out onto a patio surrounded by manicured gardens and a swimming pool. Breakfast is included and there is a choice of both continental and cooked meals from freshly baked muffins, homemade preserves, delicious poached eggs and Fair Trade coffee - just to name a few goodies on offer.
Our suites vary in prices to suit different budgets. All suites have a desk, telephone, WiFi, television, tea and coffee facilities, a safe and a mini bar fridge. Five suites are ensuite and two suites share a large separate family bathroom. Our two garden suites spill out onto the pool area. There is also secure off the street parking. Melville Manor is 20 minutes from Rosebank and the City Centre making it superbly convenient for the business guest. We have the capacity to organise conferences in conjunction with the neabyMelville Centre, which is a short walk from the guest house. Our central location makes our guest house the ideal location when visiting nearby tourist attractions in both Johannesburg and Soweto. We are more than happy to help and advise on the many local tours and trips available. Airport transfers can be easily arranged.
