This accommodation consists of 2 garden cottages situated in a beautiful garden setting, which can be booked as either self-catering or B&B. Situated in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg. Parkview is one of Johannesburg's older suburbs with graceful homes and beautiful tree-lined streets, and part of the Greater Rosebank Area. The atmosphere is relaxed and children are welcome.
Both Cottages have north facing patios and private gardens. Cottage 1 Accommodation up to 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. This cottage has a lounge/diningroom (with a double bed sleeper couch), a large bedroom with two single beds, en-suite bathroom with a shower, fully equipped kitchen including an automatic washing machine. Cottage 2 Accommodation – single or double This cottage has an entrance with kitchenette, queen size bed, en-suite bathroom with shower. If you have requested Breakfast, it will be left in the cottage for preparation at your own convenience. Should you not wish to cook, a wide selection of take-away foods can be ordered and delivered to the door, or visit the restaurants and coffee shops in the Village.
The Parkview Village, which amongst other shops has a Spar supermarket, green grocer, hairdresser, a number of restaurants and cafés, an interesting local craft shop and post office. Zoo Lake with its ducks, walks, boating and one of SA's top African cuisine restaurants, Moyos. The Johannesburg Zoo, Museum of Military History, well equipped parks for children and the Zoo Lake swimming pool. The Gautrain Rosebank Station is situated 3km from Parkview and is conveniently situated within easy reach of the M1 Freeway. Also within a few kilometers from Parkview are: The Rosebank, Hyde Park and Sandton City shopping malls. Golf courses. Wits University, University of Johannesburg, Sunday Rooftop Market, African Craft Market at The Rosebank Mall, four hospitals/clinics, Wanderers International Cricket Stadium, Civic Theatre and Mandela Bridge, the Apartheid Museum and Gold Reef City. Longer Stay A discount for an extended stay can be negotiated. Deposit A 25% deposit is required in order to confirm the booking. In the event of a cancellation, every effort will be made to re-book the cottage/suite, but should this not be possible the deposit is non-refundable. Rates are subject to change without notice.
