The Civic Theatre is no more than 15 minutes from any of the Johannesburg-guesthouses and transport to and from the theatre can always be arranged should you not want to drive back after dinner and a show. Only the major musicals and extravaganzas have been listed. Unfortunately neither Monte Casino Theatre (www.montecasintheatre.co.za) nor the Victory Theatre in Upper Houghton (www.victorytheatre.co.za site under construction), make advance programmes available.
